2024 SWCA National Pairs Winners
Stephen McGarry & Jim Gault
The 2024 SWCA National Pairs was held at Curl Edinburgh with many close games and excellent curling on show over the 2 days.

Congratulations to the winning pair of Jim Gault and Stephen McGarry who are our 2024 SWCA National Pairs Champions.

Ray Cross & Jean Gauld were runners up with Ronnie Murrie & Graham Eadie winning the 3rd/4th place play off. Thank you to everyone for taking part and supporting this event.

The SWCA would like to thank everyone who made this event possible. In particular, Harry and Michele Brodie who organised and umpired the event. Also, our invaluable on ice helpers and everyone at Curl Edinburgh including the ice technicians, catering and bar staff for great food and refreshments.

2025 SWCA BRITISH OPEN

2025 SWCA British Open Winners
Team Italy
The 2025 SWCA British Open was held at Hamilton Ice Rink from 28th to 30th January 2025.  Congratulations to the Team Italy who won the event. Team Moray 2 were 2nd with Team Moray 1 finishing in 3rd place.

Great curling was on show over the 3 days with many close games.  Thank you to everyone for taking part and supporting the event

2024 SWCA Scottish Champions

Our final tournament of the season was the 2024 SWCA Scottish Championships which were held at the Ice Bowl, Dumfries from Sunday 17th to Tuesday 19th March.

Congratulations to Paul Webster, David Bain, Gordon Rainey & Alison Hopkins who were victorious and captured the coveted title of 2024 Scottish Champions.  Team Nimmo were runners up with Team McGarry finishing in 3rd place.

Our thanks go to everyone at the Ice Bowl, umpires Harry & Michelle Brodie and all of our great volunteers.  We are all looking forward to getting back onto the ice again in September for another great season of wheelchair curling.
